Q: Can I use a sound suitcase file created with the Classic Sound Mover application in the OS X version?

Yes, except you cannot assign a suitcase to the Alert Sound or Chime Toll events.

 

Q: How many different sound sets can I have?

As many as you care to define and will fit on your disk.

Q: Why have many different sound sets?

So you can quickly change from a set containing lots of random or loud noises to one more suited to working in a library.

 

Q: How many phrases can be added to each sound set?

There is no specific limit. However, a large number of phrases (several hundred, for example) could slow things down a little. Feel free to experiment.

 

Q: How long can a phrase be?

Phrases should not exceed 50 characters and cannot contain more than 3 words.
