Disabling keyboard expansion
If you don't want an abbreviation to be expanded, type a space while holding down the shift key.
Whenever you wish to temporarily turn off TypeIt4Me's automatic expansion of abbreviations, you can select Pause from the TypeIt4Me menu.
Select Resume (which will replace the word Pause at the same menu position) when you want to re-activate keyboard expansion.
If you want to permanently turn expansion off (even across system restarts, that is) you can check the Disable keyboard expansion box in TypeIt4Me's System Preferences panel under the Settings tab.
You can also selectively disable TypeIt4Me on a per application basis by adding the application(s) to the list in the Applications tab in TypeIt4Me's System Preferences panel.
